Biography
In 2012, Prof. Yamanaka has been awarded the Nobel prize for the creation of stem cells from differentiated cells. Since 2016, Foad Abazari's colleagues and he have channelled their efforts to create different cells and tissue from iPSCs ranged from cardiovascular cells to insulin-producing cells for Diabetic patients. In this matter, they have published more than 50 scientific publications, including articles, US patents and book chapters. Recently, they have witnessed promising results in Neural cells maintained from adipose tissue, which they hope to consider a leap to cure Neurodegenerative disease.
