Biography
Dr. Zeinab Kasemy is Lecturer of public health and Community Medicine. She completed Master degree in Public Health and Community Medicine " Epidemiology of Neonatal Hypothyroidism in Menoufia Governorate" in 2009and MD degree in Public Health and Community Medicine " Epidemiology of Chronic Kidney disease in an Egyptian village" in 2013.
Research Interest
In my master thesis, I worked on children through studying of congenital hypothyroidism by conducting a case-control study. But in the PHD I worked on chronic kidney disease by conducting a cohort study. I learnt how to be in direct contact with general population and addressing their needs. As one of the main interests of public health is research, I am so interested in conducting research in every field I can get access to e.g. children, workers in factories, nurses adult people, etc.. Now I am working on the health status of taxi drivers through a project funded from IOWA University. Also there's another project, I applied into and I hope to be accepted as it will be a great research addressing huge number of people.
